The pictures shown above of old Building and proposed extension and alternation plan of Madina Masjid. Alhamdulillah, We have awarded Building contract to Starland Contracting Inc. The construction of the project was launched succesfully on October 19th, 2007. Since than great progress has been made.
Project was divided in to two phases to better manage it financially. Alhmdulillah the first phase(main prayer hall) is successfully completed and now open for services. There are still few items remain in this first phase which are not service effective but need to be completed before moving into second phase.
They are:
- Main Dome
- Carpet
- Wood pannelling around the prayer Hall inside
- Mimber and Some finishing work
Above remaining work need to be completed by Ramadan
Estimated time frame to fully complete the project including the second phase is Spring 2010.
Approximate cost of this project is around 4 million dollars. We have collected about 65% of funds so far and required 35% more to successfully complete this project.
